Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced and operationally driven Director of Ecosystem Enablement to lead partner enablement, ecosystem activation support, operational readiness, and ecosystem performance coordination across Liquid Group’s payment platforms and cross-border QR ecosystems.
This role plays a critical function in ensuring ecosystem participants — including issuers, acquirers, merchants, and payment partners — are operationally enabled, actively participating, and continuously supported to drive transaction adoption, usage growth, and ecosystem scalability.
The role serves as a key operational bridge across Product, ACT (Activation, Conversion & Transactions), Technology, Commercial, and regional Operations teams to support rollout readiness, partner enablement, ecosystem performance monitoring, and continuous operational improvement across SGQR+, RoamQR, and Liquid Group’s regional payment ecosystems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Partner Enablement & Ecosystem Activation

Drive partner enablement and activation support across: wallet issuers, acquirers, merchants, ecosystem participants

Coordinate partner operational readiness and ecosystem participation initiatives.

Support merchant and partner activation programs to improve transaction adoption and ecosystem participation.

Conduct partner engagement sessions, operational walkthroughs, and ecosystem training initiatives.

Support on-ground engagement and ecosystem activation efforts where required.
2. Ecosystem Performance & Usage Support

Monitor ecosystem participation, transaction activity, and partner usage performance.
-
Track: activation rates, transaction adoption, usage trends, operational participation levels.

Identify low-activity or underperforming ecosystem participants and coordinate recovery or activation support initiatives.

Support ACT teams in driving ecosystem participation, transaction conversion, and usage growth initiatives.

Provide ecosystem performance insights and operational observations to management teams.
3. Operational Readiness & Product Support

Support operational readiness planning for: new products, product enhancements, feature rollouts, payment corridor expansions.

Coordinate UAT, operational walkthroughs, and business readiness activities across stakeholders.

Work closely with Product and Technology teams to ensure releases are operationally executable and supportable.

Provide operational feedback and ecosystem observations to improve: usability, operational scalability, implementation readiness, ecosystem adoption

Support rollout coordination and migration readiness activities across regional teams.
4. Operational Coordination & Process Improvement

Work closely with regional operations teams across Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand to improve: operational consistency, ecosystem servicing, support scalability, operational governance.

Review and enhance SOPs, operational workflows, and ecosystem support processes.
- Identify opportunities for: operational efficiencies, process automation, service improvements, ecosystem optimization
Coordinate cross-functional operational support across Product, Technology, Operations, and ACT teams.
5. Ecosystem Support Governance & Escalation Coordination

Act as a key operational coordination point for ecosystem partners and stakeholders.

Coordinate resolution of: onboarding issues, operational incidents, ecosystem servicing gaps, partner readiness concerns, escalation management matters.

Drive root cause analysis and operational improvement initiatives.

Support ecosystem servicing governance and operational performance management.
Key Requirements
-
8–12+ years of experience in: fintech, payments, product operations, ecosystem operations, partner enablement, merchant or payment network environments.

Strong understanding of: QR payments, Payment ecosystems, Wallet participation models, merchant acquiring, cross-border payment environments.

Experience supporting ecosystem activation, operational readiness, and partner enablement initiatives.

Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities.

Operationally strong with commercial awareness and ecosystem-growth mindset.

Highly organized, analytical, and execution-oriented.

Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth fintech environments.
